It certainly seems like Indian film stars have fast begun to charm the western audiences. In fact after Nimrat Kaur and Mallika Sherawat featuring in American TV shows we hear that Priyanka Chopra who has been jetting to and fro from LA has been roped in for a new TV show called Quantico.
Apparently, Priyanka has joined the cast of ABC drama pilot Quantico, produced by Mark Gordon, Josh Safran and Nick Pepper, that revolves around a group of young FBI recruits, all with specific reasons for joining, who battle their way through training at the Quantico base in Virginia. As for Priyanka’s character in the series, the actress will be seen playing the role of Alex Weaver, a brilliant but haunted FBI trainee whose past boils to the surface soon after her arrival at Quantico.
On the film front, Priyanka Chopra will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadkne Do that features an ensemble cast and later in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani alongside Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
